Lemon Butter Syrup



2 cups sugar
1 cup water
2 Tbls. butter
zest and juice of 1 lemon


Place sugar and water in pan over med high heat and bring to boil, cook for 2 minutes. Remove from heat and add butter, lemon zest and juice into syrup, stir and serve warm with French toast, pancakes, etc.

Refrigerate and heat it up for another meal :)

Sounds wonderful. I'm a sucker for anything lemon.
